FAQ
Common questions about West County Power Deals. Still stuck? Email greg@westcountytech.com.
How do you pick deals?
I check listed prices against recent third-party history (usually CamelCamelCamel), not the manufacturer list sticker. When capacity is clear, I note cost per watt-hour. Brands with weak BMS or safety track records get skipped. Expired deals stay on the site but are marked expired.
If a price is only "cheap" versus a fake list price, it does not make the site.
Do you earn commissions?
Yes, from some links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases, using Store ID westcountypow-20. That does not raise your price. Full disclosure.
Do you cover installation or electrical work?
No. Deal notes may mention BMS ratings, fusing, or series/parallel caveats at a high level. Anything that ties into house wiring or code-required work needs a qualified electrician. We are not your installer.
Who handles returns and shipping?
We do not sell or ship anything. Returns, refunds, warranties, and shipping issues go to the retailer (usually Amazon). Use their order tools or support pages.
Why did the price change after you posted?
Prices are snapshots. Retailers change them often, especially on limited-time badges. Check the live retailer page before you buy. We mark deals expired when they are no longer near a recent low.
Is there an email list?
Not yet. For now, email greg@westcountytech.com with subject Deal alerts - Power if you want a heads-up when alerts go live.
Who runs this site?
